Credit: Johnny BuzzerioAlice in Chains opened for Guns N’ Roses‘ Not in This Lifetime tour earlier this summer, and they’ll join up with Axl Rose, Slash and company again when they come through the capital of grunge next week. The “Man in the Box” rockers will open for the reunited GN’R during their show in Seattle on Friday, August 12.
Seattle not only is the hometown of Alice in Chains, it’s also the birthplace of Guns bassist Duff McKagan. Alice in Chains guitarist Jerry Cantrell recently collaborated with McKagan on Duff’s EP, How to Be a Man.
Alice in Chains recently wrapped up a headlining tour of their own, and they’ll hit the road again in the fall.
