Credit: Claude GassianThe Rolling Stones have debuted an official trailer for the upcoming concert film documenting the band’s historic free concert in Havana, Cuba, that took place this past March. As previously reported, The Rolling Stones: Havana Moon will premiere as a one-night-only screening event at hundreds of theaters around the world on September 23.

The video, which has been posted on The Rolling Stones’ official YouTube channel, features a montage of high-def clips of the band performing along with shots of the massive crowd, which was said to be more than 1.2 million people. At the beginning of the trailer, you hear a voice-over by Mick Jagger saying, “Castro’s regime banned rock ‘n’ roll,” followed by Keith Richards commenting, “You ban something, you’re making it a little more tasty,” then adding, “This is a first for them and us.”

The video also features snippets of The Rolling Stones playing “Gimme Shelter,” “Jumpin’ Jack Flash,” “It’s Only Rock ‘n’ Roll” and “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction.”

The band’s first-ever concert in Cuba took place on March 25 and closed out the group’s 2016 Olé America Latina tour. Havana Moon was directed by Paul Dugdale, who also directed the just-announced documentary The Rolling Stones Olé Olé Olé!: A Trip Across Latin America that will premiere at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival in September.

The theatrical screenings of Havana Moon will include special exclusive footage that won’t be seen elsewhere. For more information about the film, visit StonesinCuba.com.
