Dave J Hogan/Getty ImagesIt may be hard to believe, but longtime Rolling Stones bass player Bill Wyman will celebrate his 80th birthday on October 24. In honor of the milestone, Wyman and his band The Rhythm Kings will headline a special all-star concert on October 28 as part of the 2016 edition of the U.K.’s annual BluesFest London event.

Bill Wyman’s 80th Birthday Gala also will feature Mark Knopfler, Simply Red singer Mick Hucknall, Bob Geldof, Imelda May and a number of as-yet-unannounced special guests. The show will be held at the Indigo venue at London’s O2 complex.

Tickets for BluesFest London 2016 go on sale to the general public starting Friday, July 1, at 9a.m. local time. American Express Card members can buy pre-sale tickets beginning Tuesday, June 28 at 9 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.co.uk/AMEX.

The festival runs from October 28 to October 30, and also will feature Van Morrison with Jeff Beck performing on October 29 at the O2 Arena and Bad Company with ex-Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora playing at the O2 on the 30th.
