Steven Tyler Explains Musical Direction Of Solo Album
(Radio.com) Steven Tyler’s forthcoming country album is already one of the most talked-about country music releases of 2015, and now, two weeks after he released his debut country single “Love Is Your Name,” the Aerosmith frontman spoke with a CBS Radio station about what to expect from his upcoming country release.
“I can’t hide my voice, everybody knows that,” he told the station. “…I want my harmonies to be heard good and loud and vocal to be out a couple DB more.
“I’ve certainly got a dark side like Johnny Cash’s last album, Mumford & Sons where it sounds like love and fun. I’ve got a band here with Marti Fredriksen called Loving Mary and three girls in the band, background harmonies loud.”
