Graham Nash Hosting Rock Documentary Marathon on the HDNet Movies Channel in July

Credit: Amy GranthamGraham Nash will serve as host of a special multi-day rock-themed movie marathon on the HDNet Movies channel that will kick off on Saturday, July 9, and run through Sunday, July 17.

Graham Nash Presents 9 Days of Rock Docs” will feature the folk-rock legend sharing stories about and insights into the various artists featured in each film, including Bob Dylan, The Allman Brothers Band, Eric Clapton, Van Morrison, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Who, David Bowie, The Beach Boys, Prince, Rush and Stevie Ray Vaughan.

The marathon will include 13 documentaries, several of which will be getting their TV premieres. Among them are The Allman Brothers Band: After the Crash, which focuses on the group’s career after the death of founding lead guitarist Duane Allman; Rush: The Rise of Kings, about the Canadian prog-rock trio’s path to stardom; Eric Clapton: The 1970s Review, which delves into the first decade of the guitar legend’s solo career; Van Morrison: Another Glorious Decade, a documentary about the lauded Northern Irish artist’s music from 1977 to 1987; and Bob Dylan: In & Out of the Folk Revival, which takes a look at the influential singer/songwriter’s emergence as a folk icon.

“Graham Nash Presents 9 Days of Rock Docs” will feature two films screened during primetime each night from July 9 through July 16, and culminating with an all-day nine movie marathon on July 17.
