Fleetwood Mac will turn Dodger Stadium into a field of “Dreams” on July 28 when the band plays its only planned concert of 2016 at the famous Los Angeles ballpark as part of the 2016 Blue Diamond Gala fundraiser. The benefit raises money for the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation, the official charity of the Dodgers baseball team, which supports various programs geared toward in-need children and families in the L.A. area.
Fleetwood Mac’s performance, which will take place on the Dodger Stadium field, is being billed as “a grand slam night of greatest hits.” The Blue Diamond Gala also will honor longtime Dodgers broadcaster Vin Scully, who plans to retire at the end of the season after his 67th year serving the team. The Dodgers’ players and coaches will be special guests at the benefit.
The gala will kick off with a blue-carpet arrival event, and also will feature a pre-show party.
Attendees are encouraged to wear blue clothing in honor of the Dodgers.
