All aboard! A new tram in the U.K. will be named after Ozzy Osbourne, according to the Birmingham Mail. The tram will run through the English city of Birmingham, where the Black Sabbath frontman was born.
“It’s a great honor to have a new tram named after me,” says Osbourne. “I’m proud to be a Brummie and this means so much.”
Ozzy will be on hand at the Corporation Street station this Thursday, May 26, for the tram naming ceremony, and, presumably, to make sure it doesn’t go off the rails on a crazy train.
Meanwhile, Ozzy and Black Sabbath will resume their The End farewell tour this June with a trek through Europe. The band will return to the U.S. in August.
