British Invasion legends The Yardbirds will return to the U.S. for a monthlong tour this summer. The trek gets underway on June 30 at the Regent Theatre in Arlington, Massachusetts, and will stop in a variety of cities in the Northeast before making its way to the West Coast, winding down with a July 30 performance at the Mount Baker Fest in Bellingham, Washington.
Prior to the June 30 tour kickoff, The Yardbirds will play an intimate VIP rehearsal event on June 29 at the Regent Theatre. Fans attending the show will get the chance to have the band members autograph items, and the first 60 also will receive a collector’s T-shirt.
The Yardbirds current touring lineup is led by founding drummer Jim McCarty and also includes John Idan on vocals and guitar, Johnny A on lead guitar, journeyman bassist Kenny Aaronson and ex-Ram Jam member Myke Scavone on harmonica and backing vocals.
