Just in time for this Friday’s premiere of the Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, a new book titled Long Live Queen: Rock Royalty Discuss Freddie, Brian, John & Roger celebrating the band has been published.
The book has been put together using segments of interviews with a variety of well-known musicians, who share their opinions and recollections regarding Queen and its music.
Among the artists featured in the book are KISS‘ Paul Stanley, Todd Rundgren, Def Leppard‘s Joe Elliott, Genesis‘ Steve Hackett, Judas Priest‘s Rob Halford and KK Downing, Yes‘ Geoff Downes, Yoko Ono, The Smashing Pumpkins‘ Billy Corgan, Soundgarden‘s Kim Thayil and Twisted Sister‘s Dee Snider.
Topics discussed in the book include the various artists’ favorite Queen songs and albums, what they admire about the group and their memories of seeing the band in concert, meeting its members and more.
Long Live Queen was compiled by veteran rock journalist Greg Prato, and is available now in paperback and as a download via Kindle.
