Eddie Money will participate in a special charity event this Saturday, May 14, in Simi Valley, California, that seeks to help both military veterans and animals in need of a home. The Pets for Vets organization’s Ventura County Chapter will hold its inaugural fundraising gala that day at 6 p.m. local time at the Reagan Library’s Presidential Learning Center.
The Simi Valley Acorn reports that Money will be performing with his band The Sound of Money, which also features his daughter Jesse and his sons Dez and Julian. Eddie also will take part in a VIP reception during which he will take photos with attendees at the event, as will a number of other celebrities, including MASH star Loretta Swit.
The gala also will feature a silent auction offering various VIP experiences and vacation opportunities. Tickets for the event cost $150 and are available at PetsforVetsVenturaCounty.com.
