It’s a Draft House: Anthrax Announces Signature Craft Beer

“Finding the right taste that all of us loved was really important,” explains drummer Charlie Benante. “But it was also important that the beer not leave people feeling heavy or filled up afterwards. The other thing I love about our beer is that it goes really well with a burger. It’s the one beer to have when you’re having a ‘Wardance.'”

Wardance will be available in New York State beginning March 27, and plans are in the works to bring the beer to other states afterwards.

Craft beer isn’t Anthrax’s first foray into alcohol distribution. The band already has two signature bourbon brands: Indians and The Devil You Know.

Meanwhile, Anthrax will hit the road this spring alongside Killswitch Engage on the KillThrax tour, which kicks off March 29 in Montclair, New Jersey.
