Presumptive Republican presidential nomineee Donald Trump has hit a stone wall — a Rolling Stones wall, that is. The iconic British band has demanded that he stop using their music for any part of his campaign.
In a statement, Sir Mick Jagger and company said they have not given permission to the Trump campaign to use their songs and “have requested that they cease all use immediately.”
“Start Me Up” and “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” have been heard at Trump campaign events as part of an eclectic hodgepodge of tunes Trump has used including opera and Elton John.
