Guns N’ Roses Kick Off Not in This Lifetime Tour in Detroit

Katarina Benzova; Scott Uchida; Scott UchidaThe impossible has happened: a reunited Guns N’ Roses is officially on tour. The band, led by Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan, kicked off their Not in This Lifetime tour Thursday night in Detroit.

Following an opening set from Alice in Chains, GNR launched into their two-and-a-half hour show with “It’s So Easy.” The 25-song setlist included classics like “Welcome to the Jungle,” “November Rain” and “Sweet Child O’ Mine.”

GNR closed the main set with “Nightrain” before returning for a three song encore of “Don’t Cry,” a cover of The Who‘s “The Seeker” and “Paradise City.”

The Not in This Life tour will continue Sunday, June 26 in Washington, D.C. The trek concludes August 22 in San Diego.
