ABC/Heidi GutmanCongratulations are in order for the Cool family. Green Day drummer Tre Cool and his wife, Sara, have announced that they’re expecting their first child together.
The couple revealed the news in a black-and-white Instagram video soundtracked by the classic doo-wop track “Angel Baby.”
Cool already has two kids from previous marriages. He’s also the godfather of band mate Billie Joe Armstrong‘s two children.
2019 is looking to be a busy year for Cool. In addition to the incoming new family addition, Green Day may be gearing up for a 25th anniversary celebration for the band’s 1994 breakthrough album, Dookie.
