The initiative, which launched on Monday, focuses on one charity each week through December 24. To draw attention to the organizations, Thorogood and his group is creating special videos promoting each cause that will be posted on GeorgeThorogood.com, on George’s official YouTube channel, and on the band’s Instagram, Twitter and Facebook pages.

“The band and I chose a few charities this year that our hearts are near and dear to, and we hope that in highlighting these causes through the holiday season, it will help bring awareness to the importance of their missions,” says Thorogood. “Happy Holidays everyone!”

The first charity being showcased is Veterans Matter, an organization that helps homeless military veterans find housing and shelter.

The other charities selected by Thorogood and the Destroyers are The T.J. Martell Foundation, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, The HART Fund, The Guitar Center Music Foundation and The Humane Society of the United States. For the final week of the 2018 “Who Do You Love?” campaign, the band is asking fans to support the charity of their choice.
