Brantley Gutierrez; Herring & HerringU.K. hard-rock magazine Kerrang! has announced the nominees for its Kerrang! Awards 2018, and Foo Fighters and Metallica are among the acts that will compete in multiple categories.
Both bands have received nods for Best International Live Act and Best International Band, while Foo Fighters is also in the running for the Best Album prize, for its latest studio effort, Concrete and Gold.
Guns N’ Roses will be facing off against Foo Fighters, Metallica and two other groups for the Best International Live Act award, while Green Day, Linkin Park and Australia’s Parkway Drive will go up against the Foos and Metallica for the Best International Band honor.
Another veteran rock act vying for a 2018 Kerrang! Award is Iron Maiden, which has been nominated for Best British Band.
