Elton John is among a newly announced crop of celebs who have signed on to appear on NBC’s The Red Nose Day Special, which airs Thursday on NBC from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. ET. The star-studded charity event helps raise awareness and money for children in need all around the world.
Elton, who is a longtime supporter of the Red Nose Day charity, will perform a special song during the special. Other celebrities who have been added to the bill include country star and The Voice coach Blake Shelton, actors Julia Roberts and Will Ferrell, and basketball legend Kobe Bryant.
They’ll join U2‘s Bono, Jay Leno, Celine Dion and dozens more on the show. The Red Nose Day Special will be hosted by comedian Craig Ferguson.
