ABC/Randy HolmesChris Cornell will be performing on this evening’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The Soundgarden frontman will play his new solo song “The Promise,” which he wrote and recorded for the upcoming film of the same name.
For the performance, Cornell will be joined by Soundgarden drummer Matt Cameron, who was recently inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Pearl Jam.
The Promise, a drama about the Armenian genocide, opens in theaters this Friday, April 21. The film stars Oscar Isaac and Christian Bale.
The Tonight Show airs at 11:35 p.m. ET on NBC.
