ABKCOA new Rolling Stones lyric video, for the band’s 1967 psychedelic-pop gem “She’s a Rainbow,” premiered Friday on Jezebel.com, a website geared toward women. Reflecting the focus of the site, the animated clip celebrates the feminine gender through the ages, as it features paintings and photos of a variety of women from different cultures along with various colorful swirling images and backdrops.

The “She’s a Rainbow” video is the second clip created to accompany a song from The Stones’ 1967 Their Satanic Majesties Request album, which will be reissued as a deluxe 50th anniversary box set on September 22. The video was directed by Lucy Dawkins and Tom Readdy for Yes Please Productions, and the same duo also was behind a recently released clip for the tune “2000 Light Years from Home.” Both videos were inspired by Their Satanic Majesties Request‘s cover art.

“She’s a Rainbow” was the only single from the album that reached the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at #25.

As previously reported, the Their Satanic Majesties Request box set features newly remastered mono and stereo versions of the album spread across two 180-gram vinyl LPs and two hybrid Super Audio CDs. The collection also includes a restored version of the original 3D cover, and a 20-page booklet offering a new essay and photos from the album cover shoot.

Meanwhile, The Rolling Stones launch their No Filter Tour of Europe in Hamburg, Germany, on Saturday. The trek is mapped out through an October 25 concert in Paris.
