Credit: Olivia BeeThe Smashing Pumpkins have added a special 30th anniversary concert to their Shiny and Oh So Bright tour. The show takes place August 2 at PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, New Jersey.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 1, at 10 a.m. local time via SmashingPumpkins.com.
The New Jersey show will be the first in a series of dates celebrating the 30th anniversary of The Pumpkins’ inception in 1988. A press release promises the concert will feature “special guests, a career-spanning set list, never before seen production, and more surprises.” More anniversary dates will be announced.
The Smashing Pumpkins will kick off their Shiny and Oh So Bright tour, which will feature reunited original members Billy Corgan, James Iha and Jimmy Chamberlin, on July 12 in Glendale, Arizona.
