Roger Daltrey to Host Reception for Teen Cancer America

Also appearing alongside The Who front man is the group The Hillbenders, known for performing a bluegrass version of The Who’s rock opera, Tommy. The evening also will include an auction of signed Who memorabilia, VIP meet-and-greet tickets for The Who Hits 50! Tour and more.

The evening kicks off 6 p.m April 28 at the Raleigh Convention Center Ballroom.

All proceeds from the benefit will go to future Teen Cancer America units in hospitals throughout North Carolina.

Tickets are available through TeenCancerAmerica.org.  Teen Cancer America, which was co-founded by Daltrey and Pete Townshend in 2012, supports the creation of specialized facilities geared toward teens and young adults at medical centers and hospitals across the U.S.
