Frampton dove into working on the albums after being diagnosed with inclusion body myositis, or IBM, an inflammatory muscular disease that's expected to eventually rob him of his ability to play guitar.

The 70-year-old rocker tells ABC Audio that he recorded three-and-a-half albums with his current backing band prior to launching his Finale farewell tour last year. Only one of those albums, a blues-covers collection titled All Blues, has been released so far, hitting stores in June 2019, and Frampton says he'll start putting out the others after his commitments to promoting his book have "calmed down a little bit."

Peter says the next album is "an instrumental covers record that I have done with my band," which he's planning to release "in the…late spring, early summer [of 2021]."

After that, Frampton reports that he'll issue another album of blues songs, which eventually will be followed by "a new solo album…with all new material" that he says is halfway done and that he won't release "until I'm ready for it to come out."

Meanwhile, Frampton has two virtual ticketed Q&A events lined up this month to promote the book.

The first, scheduled for December 10 at 2 p.m. ET, will feature Peter being interviewed as part of the Tucson Festival of Books. The second, taking place on December 13 at 2 p.m. ET, is a Zoom webinar and talk held in conjunction with the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta's "Book Fest in Your Living Room" series. Tickets for both events include a copy of Do You Feel Like I Do?
