Could we have had the best of both worlds? Blink-182 apparently recorded a collaboration with Miley Cyrus.

In a recent Twitch stream, bassist/vocalist Mark Hoppus revealed that the former Hannah Montana star sang on a version of “I Really Wish I Hated You,” a single off of Blink’s latest album, Nine.

Fan site Blink-182 Italia captured Hoppus’ comments and posted them on its Instagram.

Hoppus didn’t offer any other info about the collaboration, which hasn’t been officially released, though apparently it leaked online.

Nine was released last September. Along with the non-Miley version of “I Really Wish I Hated You,” it also includes the lead single “Blame It on My Youth,” and the track “Happy Days,” which just received a video filled with fans’ quarantine footage.
