ABC/Randy HolmesMember of Pearl Jam subtly paid tribute to the late Chris Cornell during the band’s show in Amsterdam Wednesday. As captured by fans on social media, Eddie Vedder, Mike McCready and Matt Cameron all wore t-shirts related to Cornell or Soundgarden.

Vedder wore a shirt with the logo for Soundgarden’s alias Nudedragons, while McCready’s featured the cover for Soundgarden’s 1988 debut album, Ultramega OK. Cameron, who also played drums in Soundgarden, sported a shirt featuring a Starbucks design which reimagines the Starbucks mermaid as Cornell.

Cornell died by suicide in May 2017 at age 52. At the beginning of Pearl Jam’s current European tour, which launched Tuesday in Amsterdam, Vedder dedicated the opening show to celebrity chef and TV personality Anthony Bourdain and the family of fashion designer Kate Spade, both of whom died by apparent suicide earlier this month.

Pearl Jam’s European tour will conclude in July. The band will return stateside for a U.S. stadium run beginning August 8 in Seattle.
