Credit: Scott Robert RitchieRingo Starr and his All Starr Band kick off their 2018 tour itinerary with a two-show stand at Borgata Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey, tonight and Saturday.

Those shows will serve as warm-up dates for a European trek scheduled to run from a June 6 concert in Paris through a July 11 performance in Rome. Ringo and his group will then embark on a full-length U.S. tour that gets underway September 1 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and is plotted out through a September 29 show in Los Angeles.

While in Europe this summer, Ringo will celebrate his 78th birthday at a special “Peace & Love” gathering that will be held at the Hard Rock Café in Nice, France. Starr has launched a contest via Prizeo.com offering one fan and a guest the chance to attend the celebration, as well as getting to meet the former Beatles drummer. The contest also offers roundtrip airfare to the event and hotel accommodations. Entering the contest requires a $10 donation to the David Lynch Foundation, which provides Transcendental Meditation programs to at-risk individuals around the world. The more you donate, the better chance you have to win.

The current All Starr Band is welcoming two new members to the lineup — Men at Work‘s Colin Hay and 10cc‘s Graham Gouldman. They join Starr, Toto guitarist Steve Lukather, ex-Santana and Journey singer/keyboardist Gregg Rolie, sax player/percussionist Warren Ham and drummer Gregg Bissonette.
