Eagle Rock EntertainmentKeith Richards, Graham Nash and Art Garfunkel are among the music stars who appear in a new Everly Brothers documentary called Harmonies from Heaven that will be released as a two-DVD set, a DVD/Blu-ray collection and a digital download on September 9.

The film premiered on U.K. television earlier this year, while the home video edition features extra footage that didn’t appear in the broadcast version, including a previously unreleased full-length concert performance recorded in Sydney, Australia, in 1968.

Harmonies from Heaven follows the story of Don and Phil Everly, from their childhood success as stars of their father’s radio show to their years as pop idols during the late 1950s and early 1960s, and beyond. The movie features new interviews with Don Everly and archival interviews with Phil, who passed away in January 2014. It also boasts conversations with a variety of famous artists who were inspired by the Everlys, including Richards, Nash, Garfunkel, Dave Edmunds and award-winning lyricist Tim Rice.

The Everly Brothers’ clear, tightknit harmonies and infectious songs captivated music fans and influenced droves of artists, including The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel and The Hollies. Among the duo’s many classic tunes are “Bye Bye, Love,” “Wake Up, Little Susie,” “All I Have to Do Is Dream” and “Love Hurts.”
