ABC/ Ida Mae AstuteJon Bon Jovi is among the music stars who are about to show they’re #WithHer in a big way. The New Jersey rocker has signed up for “Love Trumps Hate,” a performance series sponsored by the Hillary Clinton campaign to encourage people to get out the vote in battleground states. Katy Perry and Jennifer Lopez also will be taking part in the performances.
Bon Jovi’s “Love Trumps Hate” performances will take place October 27 in Pittsburgh, and November 5 in Tampa, Florida; Lopez will sing on October 29 in Miami; and Perry will perform on November 5 in Philadelphia. Earlier this year, Jon joined Clinton and Senator Cory Booker at a rally at New Jersey’s Rutgers University.
In a statement, the Clinton campaign said, “These performances will also serve as organizing opportunities to recruit new volunteers for the final stretch of the campaign…what voters will hear from these performers…is that Hillary Clinton has the experience and steadiness to bring people together and get real results.”
