Foo Fighters have premiered the video for “Waiting on a War,” a track off the band’s upcoming album, Medicine at Midnight.
The clip follows the youth left over from what’s implied to be the ruins of an apocalyptic conflict, between flashbacks to a better time and hints pointing to how everything went wrong.
“Everyday waiting for the sky to fall. Is there more to this than that?” reads a statement accompanying the video. “Is there more to this than just waiting on a war? Because I need more. We all do.”

“Waiting on a War” is the third song to be released from Medicine at Midnight, following “No Son of Mine” and lead single “Shame Shame.” The whole album arrives February 5.
