ABC/Andrea McCallinDave Grohl helped give Nirvana a jazz makeover when he showed up during jazz musician Trombone Shorty‘s show in Los Angeles over the weekend. The Foo Fighters frontman joined Shorty and his band on drums for a horn-laden rendition of the classic Nevermind track, “In Bloom.”

In other Dave Grohl happenings, the musician is apparently going to guest on an upcoming episode of Sesame Street. A puppeteer for the show revealed that Grohl stopped by the set, and shared a photo of him alongside Elmo and Big Bird.
Grohl and the rest of the Foos will resume their Concrete and Gold tour in October.
