It’s good to be Courtney Love‘s lawyer these days.
As reported last week, the singer’s former son-in-law, Isaiah Silva, whose divorce from Frances Bean Cobain was finalized a couple weeks ago, is reportedly suing Love and others for conspiring to murder him in order to retrieve retrieve a guitar owned by Frances’ legendary father, late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain. Now, says TMZ, Silva’s ex-girlfriend and baby mama, Jessica Sullivan, has filed a lawsuit against Courtney Love and her manager, Sam Lutfi.
Sullivan says that Courtney and Sam reached out to her when things started to go south between Silva and Frances Bean, in hopes of getting Sullivan to take Frances Bean’s side in the divorce proceedings. When Sullivan refused, she says Lutfi threatened to “put [her] on the street,” and told her, “your kid will be in an orphanage.”
Sullivan also says that Love and Lutfi put her phone number in the “Free” section of Craigslist, advertising a free puppy and causing a flood of phone calls. She’s accusing the pair of stalking and emotional distress.
