Brian Rasic/WireImageMötley Crüe‘s Vince Neil recently was charged with misdemeanor battery, stemming from an April incident in which he allegedly assaulted a female autograph seeker in Las Vegas. Now, the woman has reportedly has filed a lawsuit against the rocker.
According to an exclusive report from TMZ, the alleged victim, Kelly Guerrero, is seeking damages of at least $150,000 after Neil supposedly attacked her when she and her son approached his pal Nicholas Cage at the Aria Hotel and Casino and attempted to chat with him.
In the lawsuit, Guerrero says Cage and Neil were hanging out and horsing around together. Cage put Neil in a headlock and then released him, and at that point, Guerrero claims, Neil attacked her, yanking her to the ground by her hair. Guerrero claims that the unprovoked assault left her with neck and back pain, an injured hip and a fractured tailbone.
In the suit, Guerrero says Neil seemed as though he were drunk or otherwise impaired, and alleges that he also assaulted another woman.
If convicted of misdemeanor battery, Neil could face six months in prison. According to RollingStone.com, his first scheduled court appearance is on July 27.
