Credit: Herring & HerringMetallica will be treating the world to a new song this Halloween. The metal legends will unveil a track called “Atlas, Rise!” on October 31 at 3 p.m. ET.
“Atlas, Rise!” is a song from Metallica’s forthcoming album Hardwired…to Self-Destruct. It’ll be the third track to be released from the album, following “Hardwired” and “Moth into Flame.”
To celebrate the release of Metallica’s new single, independent record stores across the country will be offering a free limited-edition Hardwired…to Self-Destruct Halloween mask. Each mask will include a code that will allow you to listen to “Atlas, Rise!” a whole 30 minutes before it’s officially released. The masks will go on sale starting this Friday, October 28. Hardwired…to Self-Destruct will be officially released November 18.
