ABC/Randy HolmesIggy Pop has shared a new song, colorfully titled “A****** Blues.” The track is an extremely lo-fi recording featuring just an acoustic guitar and Pop’s voice singing about “an a****** who’s out to get me.”
“It’s full of negative energy,” Pop tells Rolling Stone of the song. “Listen at you own risk. It’s fun to play the blues.”
“A****** Blues” is streaming online now via Soundcloud. It’ll be released as a seven-inch flexi disc on April 21.
Last year, Pop released his album Post Pop Depression, which he recorded with Queens of the Stone Age‘s Josh Homme.
