Goodbye, Las Vegas Strip: Elton John ending Caesars Palace residency

Denise Truscello/WireImageIf you haven’t seen Elton John’s Las Vegas show The Million Dollar Piano yet, get your tickets now — it’s coming to an end next year.

Tickets for what will be the 14 final performances of the show, at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, go on sale this Sunday, October 22 at 10 a.m. PT.  By the time the show closes, on May 19, 2018, Elton will have played 207 performances of The Million Dollar Piano, which began in 2011.  His previous residency show, The Red Piano, closed in 2009. 

In a statement, the president of Caesars Palace said, “For over a decade, Elton John and his band have graced the stage at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, performing all the hits that have defined a generation. Elton John’s residency at The Colosseum has set the standard for those all that have followed.”

Though the 14 final shows are going on sale Sunday, Elton also has performances scheduled through November 4, and then from February 9 through March 2.

April 28-29 Saturday, Sunday
May 1-2 Tuesday, Wednesday
May 4-6, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
May 9 Wednesday
May 11-12 Friday, Saturday
May 15 Tuesday
May 17-19 Thursday, Friday, Saturday
