ABKCO RecordsAn expansive box set featuring all of The Rolling Stones‘ albums that were released in mono during the 1960s in the U.S. and the U.K. will arrive in stores September 30. The Rolling Stones in Mono will be available as a 15-CD set and a 16-LP vinyl collection, as well as in various digital formats.

The package spans from the band’s 1964 self-titled U.K. debut through 1969’s Let It Bleed, and also features a newly created compilation called Stray Cats that gathers together The Rolling Stones’ non-album singles, B-sides and EP tracks. The box set features a total of 186 tracks, including 56 that haven’t been available in mono for decades.

The Rolling Stones in Mono includes a 48-page book featuring a new essay by lauded Rolling Stone journalist David Fricke, as well as rare photos taken by Terry O’Neill. The CDs and LPs are housed in album jackets replicating the originals, and packaged in a specially designed box.

The tracks were mastered by Grammy-winning engineer Bob Ludwig using digital transfers from the original analog masters. The vinyl version of the collection features 180-gram discs, and each box set will be individually numbered.
