Dominique Charriau/WireImageIsaiah Silva, whose divorce from Frances Bean Cobain was finalized a couple weeks ago, is reportedly suing Courtney Love and others for conspiring to murder him in order to retrieve a guitar owned by Frances’ legendary father, late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain.
TMZ reports that Silva has filed a lawsuit claiming that Love conspired with a group of men who allegedly broke into his West Hollywood home and robbed, assaulted, sexually battered, kidnapped and attempted to murder him.
The guitar in question is one Kurt used in Nirvana’s legendary MTV Unplugged performance. Silva recently was awarded the instrument as part of his divorce settlement with Frances.
Silva says Sam Lufti was among the men who broke into his home, and he also is suing actors John Nazarian and Ross Butler, as well as musician Michael Schenk, alleging they were all part of the conspiracy. He also claims that Lufti supplied illicit drugs to both Frances Bean and Courtney.
TMZ reached out to Courtney’s management, with no response. Silva is apparently asking for unspecified damages.
