Foo Fighters earn number-one debut in the UK with “Concrete and Gold”

Roswell Records/RCA RecordsThe new Foo Fighters album Concrete and Gold debuts at number one on the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart.

Concrete and Gold gives Dave Grohl and company their fourth number one album in the U.K., following 2002’s One By One, 2007’s Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace and 2011’s Wasting Light. In the U.S., only Wasting Light reached the top of the Billboard 200.

Concrete and Gold also features a guest spot from one of the U.K.’s biggest stars: Sir Paul McCartney.

The album is also on pace to debut at number one in the U.S.
