Credit: Randee St. NicholasFleetwood Mac has postponed two Canadian concerts on its current North American tour that had been scheduled for this past Saturday in Edmonton and Monday in Calgary because of “a band member illness,” according to a post on the website of Edmonton’s Rogers Place arena.

The message reports that the Edmonton show has been rescheduled for April 13, 2019, while the concert at Calgary’s Scotiabank Saddledome now will take place on April 15. Both events have been tacked on to the end of the second leg of the group’s North American trek.

Billboard.com reports that new Fleetwood Mac member Neil Finn revealed in a note on his Twitter feed — a note apparently since removed — that the postponements are due to a vocal issue that Stevie Nicks is having.

“So sorry we couldnt play for you tonight Edmonton but we had to protect that wondrous force of nature that is Stevies voice. We’ll be back in April better than ever. Love you xo,” read the message, according to the website.

The next concert on Fleetwood Mac’s itinerary is a show Wednesday, November 14, in Vancouver, Canada. Check out the band’s full schedule at FleetwoodMac.com.
