An impressive lineup of rock legends will head South of the Border this fall to participate in the inaugural Rock Getaway, an 11-day music festival and all-inclusive vacation experience scheduled from October 26 to November 5 at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya in Solidaridad, Mexico.
Among the many famous artists who will perform at the seaside extravaganza are Don Henley, Santana, Roger Daltrey, Steve Miller Band, Bad Company, Foreigner, REO Speedwagon, Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, Cheap Trick and George Thorogood & the Destroyers.
Other acts on the Rock Getaway bill include Henley’s former Eagles band mate Don Felder, Blue Oyster Cult, Starship Featuring Mickey Thomas, Foghat, Queensryche and Los Lobos.
Attendees can choose from four-, seven and 11-day packages. Performances by Henley, Santana and Thorogood & the Destroyers will take place October 30 to November 1 and only will be available to guests who purchase seven-day or 11-day packages.
The packages will go on sale to the general public starting on Monday, April 17, at 10 a.m. ET at RockGetaway.com, and include admission to the various concerts, as well as lodging at the all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotel or Unico Resort. Among the other activities offered during the getaway are pool parties, after parties, after-hours jam sessions, snorkeling and much more.
