Kevin MazurLast week, it was announced that Billy Joel had landed his first-ever “stadium residency,” at Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park. Now, he’s added a second one to his schedule, this time in Boston.

Billy will perform at Boston’s Fenway Park on September 14 for the sixth straight year. He’ll also be the first artist inducted into the ballpark’s Music Hall of Fame. The display, which will be created created this off-season, will feature the artists who’ve performed at the Boston Red Sox’s home field multiple times.

“Billy Joel has so thoroughly committed to Fenway Park with his pledge to perform at the ballpark annually, and this Hall of Fame dedication is a small token of our appreciation for his devotion to the City of Boston and our venue,” said Red Sox President Sam Kennedy.

As with Billy’s “stadium residency” in Philadelphia, the Boston residency simply means that Billy will play there every year — as opposed to every month, as he does at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.

Tickets for the show go on sale to the general public starting January 17 at 10 a.m. ET.

Meanwhile, the Piano Man continues to line up shows at venues he’s never played before. Earlier today, he announced the first-ever concert at Orioles Park at Camden Yards in Baltimore. Now, he’s booked a performance at Denver, Colorado’s Coors Field, marking the first time he’s ever played that stadium.

Tickets for that show go on sale Friday, January 18 at 10 a.m. MT.

And finally, Billy will perform October 12 at Globe Life Park in Arlington, TX, which will be his first baseball stadium performance in North Texas.  Tickets are on sale January 18 at 10 a.m.
