To help him pay for his medical expenses, friends of Olson have set up a GoFundMe page. “If anyone would like to donate, it would be greatly appreciated,” AiC says.

In addition to his work with Alice in Chains, Olson played guitar in Heart from 1995 to 1998 and 2002 to 2003. He was also an engineer on Jerry Cantrell‘s 1998 solo album Boggy Depot and the 2000 Deftones album White Pony.
