Comedian Jim Breuer has recruited AC/DC vocalist Brian Johnson for his new single, “Mr. Rock n’ Roll.”
The song — which features Breuer’s backup band, The Loud and Rowdy — appears on Breuer’s forthcoming album, Songs from the Garage. It is one of two songs featuring Johnson’s distinctive vocals.
“To me, Brian is the most powerful voice in rock and roll,” Breuer said. “He is also the funniest and most generous man I have ever known. I am still in awe of how he recorded the song and forever thankful.”
Johnson recorded his vocals in 2015. He had to depart the current AC/DC tour due to a hearing condition.
Former Anthrax guitarist Rob Caggiano produced, engineered and played guitar on the album.
Songs from the Garage arrives May 27 on Metal Blade Records.
