Concerts by Bad Company and Bret Michaels Featured on New AXS TV Performance Series

Larry Marano; ABC/Byron CohenFull-length concerts by Bad Company and Poison frontman Bret Michaels will air later this summer as part of a new AXS TV series hosted by the high-definition channel’s founder, Mark Cuban. AXS TV Concerts Hosted by Mark Cuban premieres August 11 at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT with a performance by The Monkees.

Each episode of the five-week series will feature a 90-minute concert recorded live at a state-of-the-art venue in Dallas called The Bomb Factory. Bad Company’s concert will close out the series on September 8, while Michaels’ show will air on August 25.

Disco legends The Village People and KC and the Sunshine Band also will appear on episodes of AXS TV Concerts, on August 18 and September 1, respectively.

“With this exclusive series, I wanted to craft a fun live concert event, giving viewers the best seat in the house to experience these legendary acts,” says Cuban. “From disco and funk to classics and metal, there’s truly something here for everyone to enjoy as we send summer out on a high note with some of the most beloved anthems of all-time.”
