Courtesy of The WarburtonFor the first time ever, the star-studded annual Patrick Warburton Celebrity Golf Tournament will not feature an actual golf tournament because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, the fundraiser, also known as The Warburton, will be a virtual event that will focus on the musical performances and online auction that traditionally take place in conjunction with the charity tournament.

The Warburton's 11th annual edition is scheduled for April 20-21, with the Songwriter's Night event taking place on the 20th and the star-packed Rheneypalooza Jam set for the 21st. Both events will stream online for free starting at 9 p.m. ET at TheWarburton.KRGLive.com.

Among the many artists slated to perform during the jam event are Alice Cooper, R.E.M.'s Mike Mills, former Journey singer Steve Augeri, one-time Kansas frontman John Elefante, ex-Chicago singer/bassist Jason Scheff, former Doobie Brothers guitarist Jeff "Skunk" Baxter, The Rascals' Felix Cavaliere, Kenny Loggins, Tonic's Emerson Hart, Better Than Ezra's Kevin Griffin and guitar legend Steve Cropper of Booker T & the MGs and The Blues Brothers.

The auction, which kicked off on April 5 and will run through April 21, features guitars signed by many of the artists performing during the Rheneypalooza Jam, a handwritten and autographed lyric sheet of Cooper's classic 1972 song "School's Out," and many other collectible items.

The charity bash is hosted and organized by actor Patrick Warburton, perhaps best known for his role as Puddy on Seinfeld. The event raises money for St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

"It's a very different year, and despite our best efforts to create an event that our guests could attend in person, we've had to move The Warburton online and will be back with our standard format next year," explains Clarke Rheney, who co-founded the fundraiser.
