Credit: Danny ClinchThe Grateful Dead spinoff group Dead & Company will return to the road next year for a U.S. tour taking place in the late spring and early summer. The trek gets underway with a May 31-June 1 stand in Mountain View, California, and runs through a July 5-6 engagement in Boulder, Colorado.

Among the major venues the band will visit during the 19-date outing are the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, Wrigley Field in Chicago, Citi Field in New York City and Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public starting Saturday, December 8, at 10 a.m. local time via LiveNation.com. Various pre-sale opportunities also will be available, including advance ticket offers for American Express and Citi card members. In addition, a limited number of tickets for most shows will be available through Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan program; registration is open now. Visit DeadandCompany.com for tour information.

Formed in 2015, Dead & Company features three core Grateful Dead members — singer/guitarist Bob Weir and drummers Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart — as well as pop-blues singer/guitarist John Mayer, ex-Allman Brothers Band bassist Oteil Burbridge, and RatDog keyboardist Jeff Chimenti.

Prior to their 2019 tour, Dead & Company will host their second annual Playing in the Sand getaway, scheduled for January 17-20 at the Barcelo Maya resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
