James Minchin III; David BergmanWhatever bad feelings that may have existed between Richie Sambora and Jon Bon Jovi seem to be waning, as the guitarist has posted a video message on his Twitter feed congratulating the singer and the rest of Bon Jovi on their new single, “This House Is Not for Sale.”
In the clip, which features Sambora and his girlfriend and current collaborator Orianthi, Richie gives a shout-out to the entire current Bon Jovi linuep, including his replacement, Phil X.
“Hey guys, it’s Richie and Ori. What’s up Jon, T., Dave, Hughie, Phil,” says Sambora. “Hey, congratulations on the new single, man. God bless. Good luck. Hope you guys do great. Travel safe. Big love, man. Peace.”
Orianthi adds, “Yeah, congratulations on the new single. All the best.”
Jon responded to Richie message with his own Twitter post that reads, “[T]hanks Richie and Orianthi. Look forward to hearing your record too…all the best, JBJ.”
Sambora, who left Bon Jovi in 2013, has been working with Orianthi for the past couple of years. Their album is expected out in the coming months. Bon Jovi’s latest album, This House Is Not for Sale, will be released on October 21.
