The clip, which was directed by frequent U2 collaborator Jonas Akerlund, features footage of band members Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr. in a variety of New York City locales as they tour the metropolis by bus, car, ferry and on foot.

The video, which celebrates U2’s long love affair with the city, was shot earlier this month while the band was on their most recent North American tour leg. It shows the Rock & Roll Hall-of-Famers walking around Times Square, stopping by a pizza restaurant and a dive bar, riding an open-roofed bus through the city, taking a boat ride down the Hudson River, driving a vintage car across the Brooklyn Bridge, and much more. The band’s also captured performing the song on the boat, with the Freedom Tower, the Statue of Liberty and other sites behind them.

“You’re the Best Thing About Me,” released September 6, is the first official single from U2’s upcoming 14th studio album, Songs of Experience. The record is expected to arrive later this year, with an official release date to be revealed soon.

U2 begins a Latin American leg of its The Joshua Tree Tour 2017 with an October 3-4 stand in Mexico City.
