Influential British blues artist John Mayall will release a new studio album called Nobody Told Me on February 22. The project will include veteran talents including Todd Rundgren, Steven Van Zandt of The E Street Band, Rush‘s Alex Lifeson, and Joe Bonamassa.

The 85-year-old Mayall co-produced Nobody Told Me and recorded the album in Los Angeles at Foo Fighters‘ Studio 606 using the same Neve console Fleetwood Mac employed to record parts of their classic 1977 album, Rumours.

In addition, Nobody Told Me features contributions from veteran blues artists Larry McCray and Carolyn Wonderland, as well as Mayall’s longtime horn section, which also is part of the house band for the Conan late-night show. Wonderland will join Mayall’s backing band when he hits the road this year in support of the new album.

Mayall will launch a European tour in late February that’s currently mapped out through an April 16-18 stand in London. He has one confirmed 2019 U.S. concert, scheduled for June 26 at The Siren in Morro Bay, California.
