Toto‘s massive limited-edition All In box set, celebrating the band’s 40th anniversary, got its release today.
The package features 11 previously available Toto albums spread across 17 vinyl LPs and 13 CDs, as well as the previously unreleased Live in Tokyo EP, which was recorded in 1980, and a newly created album called Old Is New that boasts seven unreleased tunes and three new tracks from the group’s 2018 best-of collection, 40 Trips Around the Sun.
All In also includes a Blu-ray disc featuring the Live in Paris 1990 concert video and a 5.1 surround mix of Toto’s classic 1982 album, Toto IV. The box set, which can only be purchased at Toto’s official online store, also features an 80-page hardcover book containing new essays and rare photos. Each set comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity signed by the band’s members.
Coinciding with the arrival of All In, the band has released a track from Old Is New called “Devil’s Tower” as a digital single and via streaming services.
“We originally recorded this track with Mike and Jeff Porcaro back in 1981 during the sessions for Toto IV,” guitarist Steve Lukather says of “Devil’s Tower,” “We never recorded a lead vocal or had lyrics for this one, so [frontman] Joseph [Williams] finished it up for us recently.”
Toto launches a Down Under leg of its 40 Trips Around the Sun tour on December 30 in Marion Bay, Australia. The band then will visit Japan in February 2019, followed by a European trek that begins June 15 in Cork, Ireland.
Here are all of the albums included in the All In box set:

The Seventh One (1988)
