Sweet Child O’ My Hero: Watch Foo Fighters and Guns N’ Roses jam “It’s So Easy” together in Italy

Credit: Katarina Benzova Foo Fighters created an impromptu supergroup Thursday night when they invited Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan on stage during their show in Florence, Italy. The Guns N’ Roses trio joined Dave Grohl and company for a blistering rendition of the Appetite for Destruction classic “It’s So Easy.”

You can watch fan-shot footage of the Foos N’ Roses collaboration now on YouTube.

Last year, Grohl joined GNR last year to play “Paradise City” at the reunited band’s show in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Foo frontman previously gave an assist to Guns when he lent Axl his giant throne after the “Welcome to the Jungle” singer broke a bone in his foot just prior to the first leg of the GNR reunion tour in 2016.

While Grohl and Guns are perfectly chummy nowadays, that wasn’t always the case: Grohl was involved in the infamous backstage spat between Nirvana and Guns N’ Roses at the 1992 MTV VMAs.
